Setup Guide – CISS Articles App
The CISS Articles app is currently published only on Google Play Store and can only be downloaded by our early testers or from CISS Apps library. Please follow the instructions below to install the app on your Android device.
STEP 1: Downloading the App
- Click or tap HERE to download the latest version of the app.
- After downloading, you should get a file named “CISS-Articles-App-Release-V.[NU.MB.ER]“.
- Go to your download folder or browser downloads and tap on the app to begin the installation process.
2: Installing the App (Manual Installation)
- Tap on the app installer package you downloaded.
- You may get a prompt from security permissions to allow the installation of apps from unknown sources (If not skip this step). Follow the instructions your phone will provide and allow installation from unknown sources.
- Next, you should see the installation screen.
- Tap Install to install the app on your device.
- You may get a prompt again with a pop-up alert from Google Play Protect. Choose Install Anyway to continue the installation. (This is because you haven’t joined our early testers to get the app on Google Play Store). Join here.
- After installation, tap Open to launch the app.
3: Setting up the app (Optional)
When you open the app for the first time, you may see a welcome screen with a welcome text, description, and a login button. If it appears follow this guide, if not then skip guide 3.
- Tap on Skip at the top right corner, before the globe icon.
- Next, you may see the setup complete alert animation. The main screen will load from there.
- Navigate through the app, open articles, read through, and do whatever you like.
- You can also log in, comment, and save articles you like to your bookmarks.
4. How to enable notifications in CISS Articles App
- Open the app.
- Tap on the user icon (the last icon) at the bottom right corner of the app.
- Under General Settings turn on Get Notifications.
- Done!
