How to share VPN’s network and tweaked data with your computer

If you want to browse on your PC with tweaked data bundle that is enabled through a VPN, you cannot just use a WIFI hotspot or use USB tethering to share the data on your PC. The computer will use your main data, not WhatsApp data. This article provides technical way to share the data and download more from your PC.

Downloading PdaNet+

1. Visit http://pdanet.co/install/
2. Click or tap Download Android apk file directly 5.23.2 to download PdaNet+ android app.
3. Install the app on your phone after downloading.
4. Go back to the website and click or tap Download Windows client app 5.23.2 to download the windows app.

Setting up PdaNet+ on android

• Open this article: “What is Developer Options? How can I see it? – CISS GH Articles” and follow the steps to enable developer options in your phone. (If your phone’s developer options is enabled, skip this step.)
• Make sure USB debugging is switched on in your developer options settings. If not, go to your settings, open developer options, scroll down till you find USB debugging and enable it.

Installing PdaNet+ on PC

1. On your computer, Open PdaNet+ windows client app setup you downloaded to begin the installation process.
2. Click on “I accept the agreement” and click “Next“.
3. Click “Next” until the setup starts installing / extracting the app’s files.
4. During the installation, a pop-up will request you to enable USB mode. Don’t click OK
5. Continue from the next steps below.

Connecting PdaNet+

1. Connect your phone to your computer through the USB cable.
2. Tap Allow if there is any security prompt.
3. Open PdaNet+ app on your phone and tap on “USB Tether” to enable private USB tethering.
4. Go back to your PC and click OK from the installation pop up.
5. If a pop-up appears asking: “Would you like to install this device software?“, make sure “Always trust software from June...” is checked and click on Install.
6. When the installation is complete, you will be prompted again. Make sure “Connect PdaNet+ after installation” is checked.
7. Click on USB mode.
8. Click Finish.

Finishing Tips

• If PdaNet+ is running on your computer, you will see PdaNet+ icon in the system tray (besides date and time on the taskbar). If not, click on the top arrow to unhide all system tray icons, you will see a little mobile icon.
• Right-click on it and select Connect USB to reconnect PdaNet+ again if it is disconnected.
